    Well done that man!

If I could kick the habit I could use the money to buy more loudspeakers. Now there's an incentive... The reality is that the money saved would just drop into the bottomless pit we call the "household budget". No more likely to go on hifi purchases than your road tax being spent on roads upkeep

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Quite right Grant. Just need to convince Mrs. P of this

Truth is, no one on here is ever likely to inhale mine or any other forummer's smoke. So that's that. It's my body and I reserve the right to knacker it up any way I see fit

I did'nt say you in particular but a lot like to blow the shit in peoples faces, stand inside Bus stop smoking like a Chimney. Smoking in the car when they have the kids in there etc It's all out of order. Ive even seen people having a craft drag on the back of the bus. Yeh ill admit it, i did get arrested once for lacing into a twat for blowing the shit in my face on passing. i wont stand for it..

Im one of them that cant be doing with people anyway, i just tolerate living on the same planet with em, they keep themselves to themselves & don't get in my way i'm then fine.

Two obvious reasons I see to stop nagging as outlined below but are obviously counterproductive with a lot of nags...

    1. Nobody likes a nag

    2. Nobody listens to nags

You think the world will be some kind of utopia when all the smokers have finally kicked the habit or died. WRONG! Next news the arbiters of what's right and what's not will come after other minorities, like Yorkshire folk, and "big boned" fellas (sorry Marco, being thin on the inside won't cut it, they'll still try to hound you out of the kitchen)

Oh and by the way, I smoke around 10-12 cigs a day, had you going there
Good stuff, that's more like it. I have nothing against smokers, as long as I'm not forced to inhale their poisonous fumes, which thankfully the smoking ban sorted [although, as I've said here before, I didn't consider how that was done was fair, and am against such blanket bans].

"Big boned", yes, thin on the inside, no. Never said that. Try FIT from the inside, as a result of eating well/healthily. *That* is what I said, so next time pay attention!

Unless we happen to be sharing the same space in the real world (where smoking is allowed).... Good job Chorley doesn't hold much appeal, so no reason to subsequently be 'soiled'!

If you come to Wrexham, I guarantee you clean, fresh air, anywhere outside of two miles of my bog
