I was never a morning person from birth, I'm at my best after 3:00 PM oddly around the same time I was born.
It dosent take to many days off ,staying up later and later getting less sleep. 4 to 5 hours is the norm for me any way.
I like going to bed as most people are waking up, 6:00 to 7:00 am would be my bed time if that wasn't when I have to go to work.
I have always been like that. Coffee and now also Tea keep me moving when I otherwise don't feel like it.
    is that anyone else's experience?

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Never been a morning person either. I can get up early when I need to, no problem, but it takes me a good hour (min) to wake up and focus. I'm not a happy bunny (tend to growl) until I get my cappuccino caffeine hit!

Can't stand the bastards who are full of the joys of spring first thing in the morning, whistling a happy tune! They get seriously short shrift....

Thing is, I'm not a night owl either. I'm generally in bed for 11pm (often earlier), unless I've decided to indulge in a late-night movie or music sesh... But I'm certainly not into staying up until the early hours of the morning on a regular basis.

I'm generally at my best from lunchtime onwards, and sometimes will have a wee afternoon nap if I've been up late the night before, which recharges the batteries and keeps me going for the rest of the day!

After most of a lifetime being at work before 7.30am, I sort of got used to it. I tend to be up somewhere between 6.30 and 7.30 and although I have an alarm set for 7.10, it generally gets turned off well before it goes.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Oh Dear, you won't talk to me anymore then.

Always up before 6:30am (best time of the day), after a quick mug of tea, a shower and shave, and other necessaries, then its time to get Harry up and out for his 30-60 minute walk in the nearest quiet wood. Breakfast before 8:00, tidy up and clean house and any other odd jobs, Coffee and biscuit around 11:00, then it is usually the rest of the day to myself with lunch around 1:00. Sometimes off for another walk with Harry and Sue before dinner (not at the moment though) and dinner about 6:30pm. Usually off to bed by 10.00pm but often earlier, since my health issues I find I need at least 8-9 hours in bed whether asleep or not because I often wake around 3:00- 4:00 due to Angina issue.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

Lol - as long as you just left me to growl, you'd be fine!

I rarely see 6.30am. Pretty much no matter what time I'm in bed for, I don't waken up naturally until at least 8am.
