I had one of those horrible nights last night where I kept having very realistic and slightly scary dreams, half-waking up, then drifting back into yet another dream. (At one point I was dreaming that someone was trying to break into the house and woke up in a right panic). Around 6.30am I gave up and made a cup of tea.

No, had had a nice day out visiting a National Trust place, didn't eat anything odd, had one large glass of wine, listened to some music, went to bed at our usual time (11.30-ish), fell asleep straightaway (as usual), then the scary dreams started. We fitted some blinds recently, which make the bedroom much darker, but that was a few weeks back and I've slept well until last night.Bloody hell - any idea what prompted that? What were you doing before you went to sleep - were you reading any 'scary stories'?
