Lol... I can't help it. Once my head hits the pillow, that's me comatose for the duration. No matter what time I go to bed, 9-10 hours will pass before I awaken. I've even slept through the burglar alarm going off once (in error)!
I just naturally drift into a very deep sleep, and it would literally take a bomb going off under the bed to wake me!!
Del's the opposite, and can hear the grass grow... In any case, plenty of (quality) sleep is good for you and keeps you looking young!

Of course, I should've been clearer... I meant gets dark earlier, later in the day, but I do enjoy the extra hour's sleep afforded by putting the clock's back!
And unlike you, darkness (rain, cold whatever), whenever it happens, doesn't bother me at all. I simply adjust for the seasons and expect it. No biggie! I've never found the winter months in any way 'depressing'. You just make the most of it
