No I didn't miss your point, but you missed mine. Which is that excessively long sleep takes away from your waking life, and likely has no health benefits. Being happy and healthy doesn't prove or disprove the efficacy of oversleeping, and as you've never been any different you have no way of knowing. Just saying.
That 'lost' 2 hours could be used for something productive, like practicing golf or archery or something, or even better, playing a musical instrument. Just think, after 55 years of an extra 2 hours, you could be doing so much better than farting the National Anthem
