Are we talking lady gardens/fur burgers, or something with an arguably thicker pile?

Del wants a pink carpet in our main bedroom, when we do it up, and I've given her a firm NO [which as you can imagine didn't go down well], as she's already 'princessed' her dressing room, so I'm not having our main bedroom going the same way

I know what you're thinking, and that I'll give in and let her have it, but on this one I'm determined to stand firm!

So your away to buy it then

No quite right if you don't want it. It should suit both.

It was a very thick one that I put down in Irene's room as she loved deep reds.
It's now in my room to cover the bare carpet threads lol. No way I'm fitting a new carpet. Too much work now. Cost a fair amount too tho. I quite like it now it's moulted.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Nobody checked in here for quite a while!

I was OK up till tonight, but had an idea yesterday to liven up my lethargy. Spent 4 minutes on the exercise bike earlier in day - I know - not long - but not done for quite a while.
Then spent another 4 minutes just before I went to bed, thinking it would put me to sleep.

Instead of that I woke up with muscle pain an hour or so after going to sleep, so had to get up to take Ibuprofen. Hopefully that'll kick in soon, and I'll shorten my visit to these parts.
