Yep, went somewhere today to get some advice on my medical situation, they asked me some pertinent questions, and was promptly told I needed to change my ways and think snail like or not last too long

Oh well I had a good time before I got ill, I will just have to find more sedate pleasures.

I agree - buy an autochanger that can be loaded with half a dozen records. That will stop you hopping up and down every twenty minutes or so!

Trick is to rest a lot and not do too much of what ever hurts you or causes the issues.
Took me a few years to get my head around the facts etc but I'm getting there.
I also go to bed very early which gives me a better chance in daytime to do some stuff.
It is a culture shock to you but it is doable..

Usually in bed at 9 and feeling wasted by then, especially if I have done much in the day. Virtually every night I wake feeling unwell with BP and angina issue to varying degrees accompanied with a headache. Generally I some movement initially and controlled breathing helps and then I lie in bed until symptoms subside and I hopefully dose off. The more it goes on the more used to it I am getting, it’s at least a year now.

I am usually in bed at 6. Lol. Not usually sleeping all time but if I do I do. Got TV monitor with amazon, netflix and dvds etc.
I get to lie out, rest etc and see TV or sleep. Got a fridge next to me for water. Toilet is close too.
During day I'm much better are pacing myself and doing the easy thing now. Fall less, resting better, breathing better too.
Managing to make food from scratch more too.
When out I mostly use my buggy which I hoist out of boot instead of trying to kill myself walking.
Taken me 6 years to learn, being stubborn lol

I was going to say that I've been awake since 3.30 and up since 4.30 with a bad cough, but it really is trivial by comparison. Adrian, I really feel for you and your situation, but I think some of the things Grant does (or doesn't do) might be worth implementing. It's going to take a while to get used to doing less, it's that old work ethic thing

Thanks Steve, don’t feel sorry for me there are lots of others who I am sure have much more to put up with everyday, emotional or physical. I am still here enjoying life as much as I can, although at times lack of proper sleep can be a bit wearing. As long as I remain stable that’s fine. ��

Why i bought a semi auto deck so i didnt have to jump up after the first track.

The original 'Tommy' Double album by the who was made with Autochangers in mind.. Record One is sides 1/4, Record 2 is sides 2/3

Nah - I'm not paying a fiver for something I already know.

I have 'Tommy' and it is even more bother to play the records in the correct order if, like me, you don't have an autochanger. If I did want to use an autochanger it would have to be the ultimate Swiss 'cuckoo clock': the Thorens 224.
