Thought it was interesting what was said about using the Isolator and they reflect my own thoughts, I felt when I used it the Boss was better without it?

    Really? Without the isolator?

Not my experience TBH. The Boss is better with in my system. All of that is about to be irrelevant anyway lol

I felt the BOSS lost some of its dynamics and ebullient nature with the Isolator.

    "Ebullient" great word!

As we know Jim, what works for one doesn't for another. I am genuinely surprised though.

Your right mate , always system dependent and how we perceive the corresponding sound.

I've not tried it with the SHANTI without the isolator.

Might give it a go. But from experience the isolator has always made proven to bring an upgrade in the sound.

I would definitely give it a try Josie. YMMV but I'm finding it more enjoyable all round at the moment. Could be a system synergy thing of course.
A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.
