Here's a good example of 'before & after'...

    That's exactly the same space.

If you look at the brick 'arch' above the door in the first picture, also what's surrounding it, and compare it with the second picture, including how the brick has been exposed, cleaned and sealed, you'll appreciate how much work went into that project!

Anyway, looking forward to seeing more updates with your new kitchen, including the fitting of the worktops [which type of wood are they made from, btw?] and which will no doubt make a big difference

    Marco.

Lol... That's only a small 'overspill' from the main stash!

Anyway, have you got your worktops on yet?

I must admit though....your kitchen is exceptionally nice....Is that block paving for the floor??..or some type of flooring in the style of blocks?

And do you think it might wash more effectively with a better mains cable?

Goes without saying really. A mains conditioner may be of even greater benefit.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Lol - thanks. We like it. It's the original Welsh Ruabon-Red brick tiles, which were part of the old house.

However, some tasteless tool, I suspect sometime during the 'swinging 70s', had covered them up with, erm, beautiful brown 'splash-effect' tiles, laying them directly on top, and which we had to slowly chisel off one by one, whilst trying not to damage the lovely old original ones underneath!!

Trust me, that was a rather 'interesting' job

    Marco.
