    Default Hello from London

    Hi everyone

Returning to vinyl after years away.

Used to DJ drum and bass on a pair of Numark Direct Drives.

Now piecing together my first proper adult set up.

Mainly interested in kicking back with some jazz records.

    Thanks all

Which part of London? You should listen to a few systems before deciding which path to take. (Big/small speakers, valve/solid state etc).

Welcome David, keep us posted on your hifi adventures, it’s always interesting what works for others. I also got back into vinyl 3.5 years ago, what started simply buying 20 lps from a friend and a £100 get going TT quickly turned into an upgrade path, and I ended up where I am now. Have fun.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.
