Bought from Gear4Music less than a year ago. More out of interest to see if I’d get into the headphone groove but the practicalities don’t work for me.
They are great as the reviews say. These have had about 50 hours on them but I’ve not actually listened to them for more than a few hours. Just had them burning in with a cd on repeat (and the bespoke cable).
The original cable maybe has two hours play time as I commissioned a bespoke cable to be made for these in Canada by Parts Connexion - for sale separately.
Important - these headphone have the ‘tweaks’: back plastic spiders removed, dampened and the foams cut. Made a very big difference.
Cable made them sound rich and textured. Bass improved as well as details, decay etc.
Cable is pure silver, solid cast 23awg which is then wrapped in a ptfe tape. They are screened with foil and a drain wire. Plus jack is by Furutech and the pins for the headphones are by Cardas. Cable is heavy though. Cable is 1.5m in length and cost £135 to make excl post and VAT.
Headphones are in excellent condition due to little to near no use.
