    Default Biamped speakers

I had some sliced paper drivers (ScanSpeak Revelator 18W/8531G-00) and decided to build a floor-stander around them. I found a design that was pretty close at Wilmslow Audio, the Vogue, and increased the volume to 40l. They cut the wood for me and I assembled it lining with acoustic foam:

I used a different reflex port, to match the driver and volume, and I think I've got it about right.

The nanoDIGI is the heart of the system, with a crossover set at 1kHz, 48dB/8ve Linkwitz-Riley. The tweeters are T25CF002 Millenium.

Happy to answer any questions, although it was a few years ago now!

[EDIT] There's another design for the 8531 here: http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/SP95.htm

Is there a reason the 1kHz crossover point was chosen? Seems low.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

The response of the mid-range driver started doing strange things above 1k and the tweeter has a good low end so I chose 1k from eyeballing the curves.
