    I'm Steve.

    Default DIY speaker kit build.

I have purchased a speaker kit from Mike Lenehan of Lenehan Audio, his LK1 kit.
So far I have only opened the box and looked inside due to other projects on the go atm.

I have never built a pair of speakers before and this seemed like a good place to start if a little expensive ($1100 aussie) the crossover is pre built at that price.
All panels are pre cut etc all that is needed is to be able to read and follow instructions.

I'll post pics as I build if there is any interest.

I have not decided on a finish as yet, so the will remain plain old MDF until I do.

I don't know if Lehehan Audio is known or if their speakers are available in UK, but they have a large following here in Australia.
    Steve.

    Kit I have:
CD player, TTs, Phono stages, Pre amps, Power amps, Integrated amps, DACs, Streamers, Speakers and a bunch of cables.

Very good luck with the build mate.
Make sure you post pic of the build from start to finish.

They are small stand mounts, when I get my new camera (tomorrow) I'll take some pics

They look interesting. I wonder what the small inductor is for, to iron out a little spike at the top end maybe?
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

All inductors are hand wound by the designer.

These could be the best stand mounts I have heard. I always wanted to try his speakers but they were so out of my range financially, this is my chance.
