    She was a show girl, her name was Lola...

    Copacabana beach. No sign of Bazza, though

    Despite the photo it has a vague slightly naff Torremolinos feel. Very glad we aren't in central Rio. It's all high rise living, extremely densely populated and a very alien feel in terms of culture. And very few speak English.

    Very little in the supermarkets is recognisable in terms of branding. Wine is very expensive in the supermarket especially French/Italian.

    Other stuff like beer and Uber are dead cheap.

    The coming days are going to be interesting as we assess the culture.

    Was in Rio for a week about 4 years ago. Interesting place. Difficult if you only speak English though.
