Met an old work mate for a couple of pints and cycled into town- lovely sun all day, 20c. A bit hotter over the weekend expected - BBQ weather on Sunday I reckon.

No, tomorrow's supposed to be the nicest day of the weekend, mate. Not Sunday, which will be cloudier. Check the forecast for your area and make sure that you're planning your weekend BBQ around the nicest/warmest day

Overcast here, but dry and 14C. Come noon, however, the forecast says it's to be sunny for the rest of the day.

Still got stuff to do in the garden, and in preparation for a dinner party we're having with some friends this evening. This chap's somewhat of an enophile, so will need to uncork and decant some of my 'special' bottles for the Beef Wellington!

Lol - I could pour it into a decanter and tell him (he's English) that it's an unassuming little vintage, with a 'charm' of its own, from a heritage estate in Scotland...
