Piggurs, in terms of your crawling friends, I suspect that the rain's washed up those piles heavily-cacked scants you buried in the garden, because you were too embarrassed to pop them in the washing machine

Best burn them next time, unless you want a repeat performance... However, the question that begs asking, is what was Anita doing up at midnight looking at the garden path in the dark, to even notice that the maggots were there? You guys seem to have an aversion to sleep!

Marco [invariably in the land of nod at midnight and beyond].
Anita knows I have no shame when it comes to matters of the bowel - If I ever do an outrageous dump I always invite her to have a look before flushing it (she usually declines).

I don't doubt for one minute that you get a good long sleep at night (unconscious might be a better description). I bet Del sleeps for as long too, as would anyone who had to share a space with your fart gas I just don't need a lot of sleep, haven't done for years. Not even if I've got bugger all to get up for. 11.30pm till 6am is more than enough. Plenty of time for kip after I fall off me perch

Not good that you can sleep through your burglar alarm. Lucky for you that we live in the 21st century, if your ancestors slept that soundly they probably wouldn't live a long life. Perhaps your alarm needs some modifications, like a bucket of cold water over your side of the bed, supported on a motorised tilting platform, activated by the alarm. I've no doubt there will be plenty of boffins on here could rig one up for you

Yesh, the fart gas is so bad, she now suffers from respiratory problems... As for the last but, yes I've heard that's what happens when you get old!

True I am getting up earlier than I did ten years ago, but I haven't done lie-ins since my teens. I suppose that makes me look like a morning person, but really I want an hour to myself first thing. If Mrs. P started getting up at 6am, I would start getting up at 5 Strangely, I'm ok chatting shit with you guys first thing, don't know what that's about

I've got two days of working without shelter ahead of me - what's the chances of staying dry? My new phone isn't giving me BBC Weather.

Does it take you *that* long to 'relieve' your morning wood? I'm sure Mrs P's far quicker with the shower head

Have been known to try Barcardi Gold in the past, but would definitely need a few as it’s chucking down right now.

It's been on and off here too all day...

Sadly, for the majority of the UK, the wet weather is here to stay for some time yet!
