Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Oh Marco thank you again for your support. Whilst I lived in Pickering in North Yorkshire I had co-ownership of a small shop in which I had a gallery of my images and those of others. Yes I sold a few. Sadly I cannot survive on the selling of a few. I love this super saturated colour stuff at the seaside shot with a 14mm lens. It would appear that you do too. I would love to spend whatever time I have left on planet Earth selling prints such as these and living off the proceeds. I have loved photography since I was ten years old. What more can I say.

Al I'm really just displaying what I've produced from close to my home. I'm also abusing AOS to get my images spotted by Google and the like. Even though I have my own website AOS is pretty damn quick at being locked onto by search engines. It then benefits me when local folk do a quick Google of Cleethorpes beach or wherever it may be.

Cleethorpes South Seafront by Shaun Haselden, on Flickr

Another shot close to home taken today, 16th August 2019.

Although I don't live here it is less than ten miles from my home. Sue and I spend a lot of time around this coast taking hundreds of photo's. This shot followed a full English at 'The Hawaiian Eye' Cafe on the seafront.

This place is very close to 'The Fitties' at Humberston in Lincolnshire.

At the point where summer gives in.
