    Default New Car Waiting Time

Just checked and my wait for car was under 4 weeks and that included all the paperwork for the lease. Quite impressive really considering what some folk have to put up with.

And that included the wait for getting the hoist fitted
    Regards,

Where was your car made, Grant? Does country of origin have anything to do with waiting times?

As a Catholic, I am spared all that Protestant work ethic nonsense. As Jerome K Jerome put it: 'I am very fond of hard work. I can sit and watch it for hours'.

Besides - you show me in the bible where Jesus says it's a sin to skive off a bit. Although as a young child I thought being Protestant must be amazing because going to church wasn't mandatory.

Sometimes we'd have some people round the house, friends of the family or whatever. And when they left my mother would say to us, in hushed tones, 'They're Protestants you know.'

As an atheist, I am spared the need to observe any kind of ethic. As far as hard work goes, as a youngster, I used to seek out the hardest manual work I could find , just for the challenge, it certainly did me no harm.

Ha! yes I used to do that, I thought I might as well get some additional benefit beside the pay from working in a warehouse. But I got bored with it after a year.

I was a wimp at seventeen. By nineteen, I looked like a compact Arnie at his peak.
