FS: Trichord 500VA balanced mains block
Quality piece of kit, contemporary with the Ben Duncan stuff and the same design as I understand it. Two sockets, 500VA, ample for a smaller system or for source/preamp components on a big one
£100 collected from Bracknell area. Very very heavy so not keen to post.
I had a look inside, I had wondered why it was so quiet when so many of these sorts of devices buzz like crazy ... well it seems the innards are encased in what looks like tarmacadam, though it could be black-painted concrete. Anyway, with the combination of a very large transformer and a massive wodge of potting material, this is one very quiet mains solution.
This is available again, I did have some PMs previously but seem to have lost them. I would very much prefer collection/meet up for this as it's very heavy.
