    Default WTB Pass F5 parts

I've been thinking about a Pass F5 build, but having recently bought some other bits from diyaudio and taking a hit on the poor exchange rate and import duty, I was wondering if anyone had any of the boards/kits/JFets that were gathering dust and needing a new home?

    Thanks.

I have a big audio quality toroidal mains transformer for a stereo F5.

    Canterbury Windings TM597A.

    2 x 18 volts @ 11.2 Amps. Electrostatic screen and goss band.

    135mm diameter x 70mm high.

    Weight 4.5 Kg.

    PM if interested.

    Lovely sounding amps!
Love my F3 (though soon for sale, owing to domestic changes)

I have a couple of large heatsinks, though not matching.
Can't give exact details until Friday.

Thanks for the offer Alan - but will probably be getting one of the Hifi2000 cases for this.

Hello Chris. I'm contemplating building one of these too. I'll probably collect all the bits over a period of time and then have a go once most of it is all together.

I'll be interested to see how you get on.

Have you got a link for the case you are considering?

Sorry Paul, missed your response. I have Boards, Jfets and have a transformer on the way, now need a basic parts kit and PSU boards. This may take me a while to get round to!

Will probably fork out for the official case unless anything appears in the electronic bin at work! It's the one below, but 400mm deep and a baseplate for attaching everything to, so comes in at $264 - but will ship from Italy. I'm not sure I'll get it ordered before 31st October though so may get hit with duty

The case seems to be the thing that bumps the price up from what I would call cheap build to being a fairly expensive one.

Good luck with it and maybe do a build thread once you get going. I'm sure you would get plenty of interest in it.
