However, here's the thing... Would he have made it more difficult for Rangers to have won that match on Sunday, or possibly even had a chance of holding Rangers to a draw and taking the game to extra-time, and even penalties (and then of course anything could've happened)...?
In my view yes, simply because Levein's record in cup competitions is FAR better than his league one, and actually rather good! So for me, he should've been left in charge of the team for the cup semi-final, instead of that useless long-haired balloon, who posed as the caretaker manager, and I'm confident that the result would've been different.
Hearts would probably still have been beaten by Rangers, but in my view, not in the hapless manner that transpired!
