Still, either way it's another round, and more money etc. More exposure for players to shine and maybe attract transfers etc.
Most players are money orientated and most fancy going to a bigger club on European stage.

Surprised there's been no mention/chat about yesterday's cup exit, chaps? How can Rangers play *so superbly* in Europe, and then fall on their arses against much inferior opposition at home?
Your thoughts on what's going on - and is that Rangers' best chance of a trophy this season now gone...?
We struggled today against St Johnstone (although I believe we battered them) and won 1-0, so that's us through to the semi-finals. That's 34 consecutive cup wins now, in all domestic competitions, which is quite remarkable.

i slept right through. was not well and didnt miss much. another oor ref showing, not that that has so much bearing but its really poor that every ref we get seems to have a bad day.
Im told we were poor all over pitch. Tav and shags conspired to let them score but also no-one was ever on Naismith, who was creating havok... he is a dangerous player and someone should have been sitting on his shoulder for 90 mins.
I know he is disappointed but the castigation after game(again) doesnt really help matters either. If he isnt up and confident, how are the team going to be?

Do you think so? In the circumstances, he might've considered it, but I don't see it, as he's no quitter, and it would look bad on his CV. Plus, he could potentially win the Europa League. Why not? If Rangers continue to play like they have in the competition so far, against very good opposition, then they could definitely get to the final - and then anything could happen.
So, for that reason alone, I don't think he'll be going anywhere soon.
