Well I was wrong re utd City so could be today as well.
Personally it would be good for game I think if rangers win it, but still think rangers recent form has been poor.

Morelos to break his scoring duck against Celtic? For me it's a stick-on certainty!

Not sure I buy that... It would be good for the game if another team outside of Rangers or Celtic won the cup, but if Rangers win it today, it will really only be good for Rangers fans!

Lol - and I think you'd find all non-Rangers football supporters agreeing with me!

What's 'good for the game', from a non-old firm perspective, is when someone else in Scotland wins something other than us.

Wasn't looking at it from the bigoted anti rangers perspective but as investors will see it.
A league where only one team wins things is a lot worse than a league where 2 sides wins things.
Yes it would be better if more could, but realistically we've been here for years and it's not happened bar the occasional cup.
Look how the invincible City are struggling down south. A Team like Leicester won it not that long ago and are second. Liverpool are a mile ahead.
These changes produce interest from outwith the goldfish bowl of local fan interest who let's face it can't even agree with themselves, well bar one thing

I got in last night, had something to eat, drank a beer, and went to sleep.
    Well done United.

Their left back (Wan-Bissaka) had the measure of Sterling, to the point that Sterling gave up on trying to go around him.
James turned Angelino inside out repeatedly.
    I could go on.

No excuses - City weren't good enough.

I broadly agree, but in terms of the bit in bold, it was exactly the same when Rangers were winning nine in a row, and had it largely all their way throughout most of the 90s

I meant it though, when I said that Rangers being much better now, especially this season, has helped Celtic, and in turn improved the co-efficient of Scottish football. No way would we have won our Europa League group, or as many games as we have done in Europe this season, had it not been for wanting to ensure that we went one better than you - and vice versa with Rangers and us, especially in the SPL.

I don't believe we'd have won that game midweek against Hamilton, for example, and now gone 11 wins in a row [and two points clear], were it not for wanting to stay at the top ahead of Rangers, and you pushing us as hard as you have been - and for me *that* is the way it should be every year...!

That way, both of our teams will prosper, as it pushes us to perform at the highest level in EVERY game, thus in turn making us better equipped to play against a superior standard of opposition in Europe.

I'd much prefer that, and take it any day, instead of it being an almost foregone conclusion that all the silverware will end up at Parkhead... Roll on 'helicopter flag-days' too, as the sheer excitement of winning one of those far exceeds winning titles every year by 10, 20 or 30 points!
