Glad to see you're back posting here, mate....

Indeed (nor this season, and we're currently unbeaten) - and *that* is the key point.

We can clearly win (or not lose) games without him. Plus, without spending a further penny, Boli, in time, looks like he could replace Tierney. He just needs to improve on the defensive side of his game, but as far as bombing down the wing and pinging crosses into the box, he's already there.

So, the 25m transfer fee for Tierney, if it doesn't go straight into PL's [or realistically DD's] 'back pocket', is royal-icing on the cake, which will simply make Celtic even stronger. Then there's the possibility of a further 25m windfall, if we reach the group stages of the CL... A scary thought for the rest of the SPL

I can see us running over the top of a few teams this year, not just St Johnstone!

Aribo and Morelos both took theirs very well. Thought the big danish striker looked a player. reminded me of Kluivert
Nice one - I'd forgotten about that game. Must've have been entertaining to watch!

Long may both of our teams do well in Europe, as we need to raise the co-efficient, so that the SPL champions can play one less qualifying round for the CL, and if the results keep on being good, perhaps make automatic qualification, like those lucky bastards down south, many of whom are 'champions' of fuck all!

It’s nonsense that teams like Ajax and Celtic need to play so many qualifying rounds .

Indeed - but that's the problem when the game these days completely revolves around MONEY!

There's some good evidence now that Rangers are better at killing off teams, and also as seen on Sunday at Kille, digging deep to win late on at difficult away grounds, which will mean they'll earn more points than last season and make the challenge for the league title closer!

All good, as far as I'm concerned, simply because if Celtic do win the league (and secure nine-in-a-row), it's better to do it against a strong Rangers team, than a poor one....

I see that BR failed in a late 20m bid for Callum McGregor: https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/spo...llum-mcgregor/

Just how much is the current Celtic team worth?

I see we have signed young Man C player Brandon Barker on a 3 year contract. I remember him at Hibs when on loan and being extremely speedy. an interesting addition.. how many wingers do we have now

He was absolutely top drawer in our EDS but never pushed on. I have no idea why as he is a massive talent. Good luck Brandon.

Yup, he showed so.me of that ability when at hibs. Just needs coaxing out in right side. Hopefully ours. Interestingly our own speedy, tricky young winger, Glenn Middleton who we got from Norwich is going on loan to hibs next week.
A sort of round robin of talent
