Indeed... When you consider the budget he'll have to spend on players, compared with that of Man City, Liverpool, or struggling Man Utd! For me, he'd be the man to restore the glory days to the latter, or at least turn them into title contenders again.
And if he guides Leicester to fifth place this season, which I think is entirely possible, perhaps even fourth, and thus into the Champions League, and has some good cup runs, the Man Utd job would be a logical progression to the next level, as I don't think Solskjær is the long-term solution.
Plus, if Hearts are genuinely serious about getting back to where they belong, Budge should appoint Gordon Strachan as manager, and give him a decent budget [no pun intended
Steve Robinson, the current bookies favourite, is a very good young manager, but for me not the right man for Hearts, at this moment in time. They need someone who would really raise their profile, is used to winning trophies and would attract players that Robinson couldn't, who's more about bringing young players through. That policy takes time to bear fruit, and time is currently not on the side of Hearts.
