Yup, but you still found a way to win! So that's a good sign. Should be an intriguing encounter next Sunday at Anfield... For me, you have to win or draw that one to stay in the race, as I couldn't see this Liverpool team throwing away a nine point lead, even at this stage of the season...

Told ya! Piece of piss Hearts need a proper manager.

It'll be a good final in December, and your first for a while!

*Trust me*, guys... Rangers will win at least one trophy this season - I'm utterly certain! Rarely are my gut feelings like that wrong. Success comes in cycles, and Rangers will begin theirs again sooner rather than later - it's all good, as we can't keep on winning everything forever

Returning to the EPL, I see that Leicester's 0-2 win at Crystal Palace has now moved them to within two points of Man City... The Brendan Rodgers bandwagon rolls on!

Yup, he is a good manager and thrives on better players etc.
Top 5 would be a great achievement.

Indeed... When you consider the budget he'll have to spend on players, compared with that of Man City, Liverpool, or struggling Man Utd! For me, he'd be the man to restore the glory days to the latter, or at least turn them into title contenders again.

And if he guides Leicester to fifth place this season, which I think is entirely possible, perhaps even fourth, and thus into the Champions League, and has some good cup runs, the Man Utd job would be a logical progression to the next level, as I don't think Solskjær is the long-term solution.

Plus, if Hearts are genuinely serious about getting back to where they belong, Budge should appoint Gordon Strachan as manager, and give him a decent budget [no pun intended] to spend on players. That done, I guarantee they'd soon be back up challenging at the other end of the table!

Steve Robinson, the current bookies favourite, is a very good young manager, but for me not the right man for Hearts, at this moment in time. They need someone who would really raise their profile, is used to winning trophies and would attract players that Robinson couldn't, who's more about bringing young players through. That policy takes time to bear fruit, and time is currently not on the side of Hearts.
