Indeed (nor this season, and we're currently unbeaten) - and *that* is the key point.

We can clearly win (or not lose) games without him. Plus, without spending a further penny, Boli, in time, looks like he could replace Tierney. He just needs to improve on the defensive side of his game, but as far as bombing down the wing and pinging crosses into the box, he's already there.

So, the £25m transfer fee for Tierney, if it doesn't go straight into PL's [or realistically DD's] 'back pocket', is royal-icing on the cake, which will simply make Celtic even stronger. Then there's the possibility of a further £25m windfall, if we reach the group stages of the CL... A scary thought for the rest of the SPL

I can see us running over the top of a few teams this year, not just St Johnstone!
