The Champions League revenues are a boost.
What do you think brings in the most money?

Probably the EPL... But I doubt there's a massive amount in it, and in terms of winning the CL, the final amount you earn depends on many factors.

As for your last post, Pep's quite right not to spend his way out of it. As a matter of interest, out of City's first starting 11, presuming all your top players are fit, how many are products of your youth academy?

    Prize money for the EPL?
    Read it and weep https://sillyseason.com/money/premie...-money-100681/

It's a little confusing though, having to scroll through all those figures... This is specifically what I want to know:

*Exactly* how much did Man City get last season for winning the EPL?

*Exactly* how much did Liverpool get last season for winning the CL?

Two figures are all that's required.

Plus, you never answered my question about City's starting 11. Have any of them came through the academy, or are they all just big-money signings?

You have Google, same as I do.

Lol - as a diehard supporter I thought you'd know the figures for City! Not to worry... And from your lack of response about the youth academy element in your starting 11, I presume that means none. If so, *that* is a big part of why you've not yet won the CL.

You can't just buy success; you have to nurture some of it yourself, through the system... It was a big part of why your friends over at 'The Swamp' did so well, back in the day

    Here's our squad https://www.mancity.com/players/mens
Look at the higher numbers, with the exception of Angelino who came partially developed from Deportivo La Coruna, when he was 16 years old.
Dan Grimshaw came through the academy too.

No worries, matey... And are the academy players getting a decent shot at playing in the first team?

We ( Burnley) benefited from a couple of them. Kieran Trippier and Ben Mee. Mee is still here and gets the occasional mention as a possible England centre half.

They all have a part to play.
None of them get as much game time as they'd like, but that goes for the entire squad.
Ederson is pretty well guaranteed a starting place for league and CL games as long as he's fit.
