    Hi Brian,

Ultimate replaces the old UHD. Yup, 4K high-def with Dolby Atmos surround sound... On a good AV system, it's like 'being there'

Anyway, good result for Rangers. 0-4 in the end, although my prediction of 1-3 could've came to fruition, if St Johnstone had been awarded a goal that defo had crossed the line, and which may not have resulted in Rangers scoring their fourth...

Where is VAR when it's needed!

    Marco.

Lol - trust me it did... Watch the replays on the TV. In any case, it's immaterial. Good 2nd half performance, after a lacklustre start, which can often happen after playing in Europe in midweek.

Without better technology we won’t know if the ball crossed the line, remember it’s the whole ball.

Sure I agree, which is why I think that VAR should be available for all SPL and EPL matches involving the top teams, plus European games. We've got the technology now to END all the speculation with these decisions, so it should be used!

And IMO, if VAR had been applied in the above instance, it would've shown that the whole of the ball (just) had crossed the line. Anyway, even if the goal had been given, it wouldn't have changed the result, as even at 3-1 Rangers would've been in full control and gone on to see out a victory.

We won 3-1 at home against Kille, despite going a goal behind, against the run of play. Superb second-half comeback, including a penalty save from Forster, who now he's match-sharp, is starting to look like the truly top keeper he's always been.

I think both of our teams suffered a bit of a euro hangover in the first half, but then our class shone through, to secure the 3 three points! I'll watch the Celtic game later on Celtic TV

SG says the view across touchline was that it didnt go over, although ive not seen it... Im not a big fan of var, as it is inclined to break game up and takes the responsibility off refs to do their jobs. It would also appear that it gets it wrong about as often as it gets it right as tbh its just someone else making a decision

Utd 2 down now to W Ham... think Ole Gunner is gone now.... not up to task.... Utd badly need a DoF to get the club coordinated... The guys at top havent a clue quite frankly.

Sure, but I'm talking about purely from the POV of removing all element of doubt about goal-line decisions. Quite simply, just like in Tennis, VAR would prove conclusively, one way or another, whether the ball had crossed the line - and *that* is what it should be used for in all football matches, played at the top level domestically and in Europe, whenever such contentious situations occur.

Well done to Rangers for pumping Aberdeen 5-0, which TBH, for them was long overdue! And in the process reducing our lead to one point, whist also improving their goal difference.

I had a funny feeling we'd drop points today on our bogey ground against Hibs, and it turned out to be the case with a 1-1 draw. We played ok and were denied a stonewall penalty in the second half, but Hibs thoroughly deserved their hard-fought draw, and were defensively very solid.

Lots of twists and turns to come yet this season, and I've seen nothing yet that suggests that the fight for the title won't go down to the wire... Anyway guys, enjoy it, as no doubt many other Rangers fans will tonight!
