I would be interested in coming Mark, date dependant of course.
My semi active NS-1000 based speakers might be ready by then. Or I could bring just a Nord class D Power amp if they are not.

Only 18/08 is a Sunday, which I think the OP said is the target day. Leave it much later in September and the students will be arriving back in hordes. Lots of Hallam students round that area.

If the bake off kicks off about 10am, parking shouldn't be too badly affected?

Football fans here don't rock up till about 12 at the very earliest

It's not just the students, it's the fleets of dad taxis descending that cause problems. Sunday is their favourite day for returning.

They could in my day, but it would be a rusty Morris Minor van or a knackered Austin A35. They weren't worth a carrot back then .

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Hi Mark, just a suggestion, we could do with a list of names up on your first post / topic on who might attend as this has been put across a few forums it might be easier for you to keep track of how many will attend and costs.

Well, I also posted on pfm and my own forum - so not that many. You are right though, I’ll try to do a list. AoS’s forum software doesn’t allow posts to be edited after a day but I’ll see what I can do. I think we will probably need about thirty people to make it worth it.
