Hope so. I'm waiting for all the garden rubbish to dry out so I can have another bonfire.

You mean, just like you do with the paper in your wallet, when it gets too bulky?

We've also got a load of stuff to do in the garden over this weekend, before Dolores goes back to work on Tuesday. Been a nice 7 weeks summer hols, though

Will probably treat her to Sunday lunch in a nice country pub, as since we've returned from Italy, we've both [but especially Del] been rather busy entertaining others!

    Marco.

Having my bonfire right now. Burning a decent pile of garden waste and a large pair of unwanted speaker cabinets.

Lovin' it, Geoff, but that must create quite a mess! Plus aren't there rules about burning rubbish in gardens, in terms of the fumes caused? There are here.

Anyway, I can think of a few modern pairs of speakers that deserve to join them!

Shame, Robin, as it's been lovely here all day! Had temp highs of 24C. Del and I are just back from having a rather boozy (but superb) lunch al fresco, at my dad's. So now it's time for a wee nap. Aye, it's a hard life!

No hard and fast rules here Marco. Just not to cause nuisance.

There wasn't really much smoke wafting about and it certainly wasn't as objectionable to some of the obnoxious local stinks!

can't believe that the August bank holiday weekend is going to be warm and sunny. Is this the first time ever?
