Default FS: AKG K240 Monitor and Sennheiser HD575 headphones

Very nice but very different sounding headphones. The K240s are very transparent and don't have much bass without a boost. I liked them with my Cmoy bass boost amp with the bass up, fantastically revealing but good across the range. In good condition with new velour pads (I should have the sweaty ear inducing vinyl original ones somewhere if you want them.) They come with the screw on larger jack adaptor. £30 plus postage.

The HD575s are a very rare pair of open backed headphones with the classic Sennheiser veil. A very relaxing sound with a nice bit of bass. I'd say they are a low price version of the 650 sound wise, they're just a but muddy sounding in comparison but on a stand alone basis they're perfect for late night listening before going to bed. Apparently they were a prototype or limited issue model according to the web, drivers from one phone in the case of another. The cases are quite plasticky to be fair, but light as a feather and little clamping force (the variation is outwards from the top rather than downwards from the side, I find it works very well from a long term comfort basis. If these don't sell I'm not going to be that bothered actually.) These have a small jack plug and replaceable cable (I think they'd benefit from a silver played cable, in fact I'll make one if they don't sell). £50 plus postage please.

Either/both can be connected from central (Bank) or north London (N21).

Sennheiser specs attached. Nice medium impedance for valve and SS amps.

I think the AKGs are 600 ohm.

Bump for these nice headphones. Tempted to keep the Sennheisers as they're perfect for late night listening in bed.

EDIT: I realised my upgraded momentum cable would fit these and they're even better now so have ordered a 2m upgrade cable, so they're now either £60 with the new cable (which was £12) or not for sale depending on what I decide!

My HD580s may be up for sale shortly instead!
