    Default Luigi, italian in Wales

    Hi everyone,

i am Luigi, i have been living in UK for the last 22 years (52 yo now)
I did run a restaurant for many years, now working for Hillaris blinds
Always had a passion for music and HIFI.
At the moment my system is:
    Roksan Xerxes/Artemiz/Ortofon Romahn
    Tom Evans Microgroove plus
ARC LS1(looking for a new pre, The Truth maybe!)
    Mark Levinson 27 (needing attention)
    Infinity Renaissance 90
I listen to (nearly) all sort of music, i love in no particular order: Steely Dan, Pink Floyd,Sting, David Bowie,Joe Bonamassa, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Roxy Music,
Eleanor Mc Evoy, Mina, Pfm, Lucio Dalla, Pino Daniele, Dire Straits,ELP, Roger Waters, Winton Marsalis, Ellington, lots of Classical (mostly Romantic)
Listen almost exclusively Vinyl Cd's used mostly to load music on my iPod for car use
There's a lot more to say, i will keep for next time.

    Ciao a tutti

    Luigi

    Hi Luigi, welcome to AoS

Good system. You'll want to get that Mark Levinson back up and running at some point I guess?
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

    Welcome to AoS Luigi.

Fine system you have there, and an equally fine tastes in music.

As a fellow Mark Levinson user I have to say their equipment, despite the reputation for performance, is not as reliable as it should be. However Karma AV in the UK will be able to sort out any problems you have with your ML 27.

    Enjoy the Forum

Welcome to AOS Luigi. Enjoy the forum.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Thanks everyone for the welcome,
i have been enjoying the forum for a while
Being a lazy italian took me a bit before joining
My ML27 is working, the problem is a bit of x-over distortion on one channel (probably bias)
I am planning to post some pictures of the system soon (after holidays!)

    Ciao
    Luigi
