If so, I’d be happy with it, was successfully used in some place called “Abbey Road studios” apparently?

Cheap as chips to try the 4mm, in my experience (Had the black series Tour grade) the 4mm stuff gave a bigger more solid foundation to the sound, and I preferred it.

Not tried the blue Studio cable though.

FWIW I've used the 4mm Blue stuff for years. I have no idea whether it's good, bad or indifferent or how much better/worse it is than anything else but it seems to work ok....

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

I use two lengths of 4mm black per side and I've twisted both cables. Mark Grant made them for me.

Sounds superb but I have been thinking about trying some other types to satisfy my curiosity.
