Always wanted to try a pair of these speakers - must be in excellent condition - any finish considered.
If you find a pair to your liking matt it's well worth installing Bob Crites titanium tweeters.
He will ship them over from the states at reasonable cost and they aren't overly expensive to start with.

Have great memories of Klipschorns. Might still have had them if our house had useable corners. (Doors, windows etc..)

Any reason why series 3?
You could pick up a pair of earlier versions much cheaper and do some upgrades.
Volti audio owned by Greg Roberts is another place that does upgrades for Klipsch speakers.
I used them to upgrade my Khorns which definitely improved them.
Greg is a great person to deal with too.
