I suppose you're going to tell us it won't change you. Just be mindful when out in yer truck of a higher than usual number of Daisy Dukes trying to cadge a lift - they may not all be after your body.

Had a marketing call from national lottery 2 days ago offering a special deal , i guess they must be trying to drum up business . well done on your win , although the charity i am involved in is trying to get some money from the lottery i avoid it as a money pit !!

I pay to be in a prize draw with St. Catherine's Hospice, I think it's about eight quid a month last time I looked. Well, about three months ago I won - a tenner! They take money off me by Direct Debit, but the prize came in the form of a cheque. They know that most people will not bother taking it to the bank to pay in (try finding a branch that hasn't closed down these days!) They're not daft are they?

I said to Mrs. P "I'm not letting this go, I want me prize, so I'm taking this to the bank". Three months later It has finally moved from the hall table to the bin.

I'm with the Halifax and with cheques you don't even need to deposit them at the bank, you can do it via the Halifax banking app as it takes a photo of the cheque and deposits it that way.

    Very handy
