Default STA25 III rebuild for customer

This was a recently rebuilt original STA25 III for a customer. These are some pictures just to show what can be achieved even with an original amp in tatty condition. Brought to the glory it deserves!

Will, are you offering the valve runaway protection boards for such rebuilds?

    Classy rebuild as usual.

I was fortunate enough to buy this from the chap who had it serviced. It's stunning looking and of course sounding. I've always hankered after a Will Radford 25 Series 5 but just couldn't afford it (though I'd like to stress I think the price is extremely fair for the craft involved). Having pretty much one of these but with original and tested transformers that I could run to is a joy. The seller included the invoice and my best advice is that if you have an original 25, send it to Bodmin ! Best Hi Fi money you can spend.

What does the rebuilt version, apart from protection circuit, offer over the original?
