    Default Stepping aboard...

    Hi all,

My name is Mark and I'm a moderately active member over on PFM.

I've been into Hi-Fi since my early teens when someone gave me an amplifier. Which was cruel because I then had to build some loudspeakers, which was fun. It's been a long and slippery slope form there.

My musical tastes start in pre-war acoustic blues and move through bluegrass, country, american, prog, rock, reggae, house, techno, jazz and into some classical.

I listen to the music rather than the hi-fi but I do appreciate quality sound reproduction. I also play some stringed instruments.

For those who are interested I'm most interested in vinyl but listen more often to the radio and CDs and ripped CDs at home and via my phone in the car; this is simplyy a function of time.

    Downstairs:
Townshend Rock III, AO'd Zeta Tomearm, Koetsu Rosewood
Icon Audion PS1 Mk2 with Full Music Valves
    Avondale Audion Naim ACD3
    Quad FM4
    Heavily mofidied NAC 102/Modified HiCAP
    B&O 200ASP monoblocks
    Shahinian Obelisks
    Allpe TV
    Beresford 7010(?) DAC

    Upstairs:
    Rega DAC
    Quad FM4
    Quad 34
    Quad 306
    Totem Staaf

I look forward to getting to know you.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

    Hello Mark. Welcome to AOS.

That's a decent selection of equipment you have to play with. The Quad 306 has quite a few followers here.

Feel free to get involved and chat with everybody, it's a friendly place.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Welcome to AoS Mark,

Some nice gear you use - I especially admire the Zeta/Koetsu combination.

    Enjoy the Forum
