As for the girl, the only thing we know about her is that she managed to scald herself with hot tea which really isn't enough to make any conclusions about her character (heck, I scalded myself more times than I care to admit). If you want to encounter chavs Nantwich is not the best place to start. Possibly one of the most chav-free areas of the country. Come down here sometime and don't forget to bring the relevant Viz 'Why-aye Spy' book. You'll be able to tick a lot of boxes.

No, I'm not surprised that the chav-factor in the Nantwich one was low, such is the nature of Nantwich. The chippies there serve their chips wrapped up in copies of the Telegraph... I've been to a Costa once, simply because it was downstairs from the Odeon cinema, and where we were early for seeing the film we wanted to watch, so I bought a coffee to pass the time.
If was fine, but vastly overpriced for what it was! Plus, I'm simply not into highly commercialised/branded products, and so will actively choose to avoid them. Generally, if something is heavily marketed and touted as 'trendy', I'll walk the other way and shun the masses. The same applies to well-known chain pubs or restaurants. I simply don't need or like them.
The fact is, I can make far better coffee at home much cheaper than that sold in Costa or Starbucks, so why would I bother?
I don't lead the sort of lifestyle that sees me in city centres much, or in airports or train stations, where these places tend to be, so am not subject to their 'temptation'. And if I'm out and about or go for a meal, I'll have a coffee in a proper Italian (or local Portuguese) restaurant or small, generally privately owned coffee shop, where the coffee sold is much better and also generally cheaper than in Costa!
