    Default Quad ESL 57

For sale are my Quad ESL 57's.

They were totally refurbished by me in 2003 with a full set of One Thing Audio bass and treble panels + all capacitors, diodes and resistors in the voltage multipliers replaced. Fully rewired with high voltage wiring.

Grilles professionally sprayed in Ivory satin. They are in excellent condition with no dents or cracks.

Fitted to Sheldon Stokes designed stands.

Sounding superb with no pops, crackles or rustling noises.

I took the covers off last night to photograph the insides- all good with no sign of arcing or corrosion. The dust covers are in perfect condition.

    Asking £450.

Sorry, but pick up only from Wirral, Merseyside. (J3 on M53).

Lots of interest on these but currently still for sale.
I forgot to mention that the stands are removable which makes them a bit easier to transport.
I have used a Ford Focus to move them in the past, so anything with that sort of inside space will do the job.
    Thanks

What a lovely pair of ESL 57s! The would look great in my livingroom ... My current pair were shipped in newly acquired boxes from the UK to Denmark, so it is possible to have them shipped without ruining them. GLWS.
