No, I just thought I'd try it out - it's cheap enough for a play! It's not like a run of Nordost Valhalla where I'd have to mortgage the wife's kidneys.

Actually, it's the first time ever that bi-wiring has been an improvement for me. Even clearer and more lucid.

    I got mine here, Brian .... https://www.analogueseduction.net/un...ew-design.html and https://www.analogueseduction.net/un...ker-cable.html

Ah, interesting - please do let me know how you get on with them.
I've not tried the latest version but some earlier BRs were a definite step back for me. They just seemed to smooth things over.

I'm not really a big footer person, but I'm using these boingy spring things atm and they are really excellent! The whole presentation becomes more vivid and alive ... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4pcs-CD-P...72.m2749.l2649

Precision is same price as direct from manufacturer but the resolution is cheaper if you go direct to DNM.

The DNM website is a little frustrating as its not easy to just get the unstripped basic wire price up very easily, you need to click around alot.

If anyone wants a cheap entry into DNM speaker cables .... https://theartofsound.net/forum/show...r-banana-plugs

They are what got me started on the things.
The more recent ones are even better (but not hugely) and these are terminated and ready to go!
(I won't be able to post them until Friday).

I use the mk1 ravioli in conjunction with oak cones and I find the combination good. Got some double pads with corian coming , not tried those yet.

Synchronicity? Was just moving my 'beside the computer' speakers (Zigmahornets) and had forgotten I'd used my old THREE core DNM wire. The DNM set up I had had an Earth facility.
Soon to be shrinking my hi-fi;not using our basement any more. Dilemma as what to sell. (Dial up Ocellia in the ads to start....) New Mac arrives tomorrow, iTunes library all transferred.
Will have to get used to smaller space, and speakers!

    Back to system supports.
WAAAAY back, I recall an artcle in a magazine, using a bicycle inner tube between two pieces of wood being tried out (successfully!)
    Pre Max Townshend even.
If folk are bothered about valve microphony, I guess the answer is.....to have the equipment in a different room to the speakers, especially if you listen at high volume?
