    Im sure Jerry’s speakers sound great! But they do look like patio heaters

    One of the great speakers of all time.....Quad ELSs (57)
    Look like radiators.
    Looks can be deceiving? It's the result, not the ephemeral 'looks'.

    I think they look super-cool. And Nipper seems to like the sound...

    Interesting, did you try that at Dennis’s recommendation ? He advised me to go single run, but then my speakers are 10 ohm impedance.

    Clean and focussed is a good description here too, midrange especially improved, my soundstage is a bit smaller but the resolution is better. Initially i thought I lost a little top end sparkle on cymbals, but I think its actually an improvement now that I got used to it. Chimes are crystal clear and all the percussion textures are there.

    Ive got some of Colin’s LS25s turning up soon and I hope they are even better but the DNM will take some beating.

    Also getting some black ravioli big pads in next week , looking forward to trying them out too.
