    Default Bastani Open Baffle Speakers

Continuing my scaling down of hifi since retirement.
For sale is a pair of Bastani o/b speakers in perfect condition.
Featuring the Gemini tweeter, Chrystal wide band and Goldwood 18" woofer drivers.
    Also included is the following:
    1. Behringer iNuke 3000 dsp amp to drive the woofers which gives you complete control over crossover and eq to suit your own particular set up on the fly.
    2. A set of Mark Grant Jack plug to phono cables to connect to your preamp.
    3. A. pair of decent speaker cables with Speakon connectors on one end to connect to the iNuke
    4.A pair of -3db and -6db Lpads
    5. A replacement fan for the Behringer which is less noisy.
    So a complete package.
The Behringer does have a couple of light scratches on the top which doesn't show in the photos.
    Asking price is £1200
The speakers were sold for just over £2000 so it's a great opportunity to try out a quality o/b set up.
They are large and heavy but will fit for example in the back of a Honda Jazz with the seats down.
Happy to demonstrate on pick up or meet up within an hour or so from my location in Mid Wales.

Is there a passive crossover for the mid and top drivers?

I agree! Bit like Decca cartridges.
Everyone I know who have o/b's have not gone back to box speakers.
Quite happy to keep them if no interest.
