Default WTB Tonearm for Luxman PD272

    Hi all,

I have a PD272 without a tonearm, and hoping it will make a reasonable TT for a second system want a tonearm for it. I will probably put a Goldring 1042 on it.

Audio Technica arms are a perfect match geometry wise but budget will be a factor. I am happy to pay £200 for the right arm. The existing hole is 225mm from the spindle and could enlarge if needed but don't want to spoil the look if a large difference is needed.

    Any suggestions or offers?

    Many thanks
    Jonathan

The arm it came with was the Luxman TA1 made by Micro Seiki.

AT1009 received and fitted. Looks fantastic and tracks the Goldring no problem. May even try my Zyx on it.

Great service from Angus and a nice refurbished/improved arm. As a ‘project’ turntable not worried by the extra holes for the rest and lift/lower but I am sure I can use the arm in a better deck in future.

The TT lid was a mess but has polished up OK, although a couple of scratches on the aluminium have proved more difficult.
