A house I lived in some 30 years ago, had aluminum awnings over the windows. And every Spring birds would build nests in the bedroom window awning! Damn little chicks screaming for food, raising cane at 5:30am! I hated to disturb the nest, but I couldn’t work with all that noise! A coworker advised me to place a fake snake in it, and they would stay away, so I took some black fuel line and laid it up in the awning and it worked! No more birds in my awnings. I love birds singing and such, but at a distance.
