Default Not been here much and the reason is .....

Hi not been here much over the last 8 weeks with Mum being ill, but the main reason is we got a 8 week old Cocker Spaniel pup called Lana. The problems have been making everything puppy proof , as cables of any description all look lovely to chew, and keeping her nails away from the Facia's of everything. Living room looks like a warehouse with the amount of Polystyrene everywhere, blocking every avenue behind stuff. I'm glad now I bought new speaker stands when I upgraded to the Dali's

    Wish me luck .....

Puppies will chew anything they can find over the next few months as they are teething same as babies.

So, give them something to chew on, buy the appropriate size of what I've linked below and as it's also flavoured it will keep them happy and no harm to themselves either. They can't get big enough bits off it to do them harm as it's so hard. We've used them out my daughters working cocker spaniel for the last 3 years as well as antlers and can be left in house all day with no problem. Previously she chewed shoes, trainers etc.

But as I said it's what they do, they have to it's because of their adult teeth coming though. Protecting everything won't stop them chewing, they'll go for chair legs or skirting next.

If you're leaving them in the house all day on their own best to have a cage with plenty room out of any direct sunlight until they're old enough to be trusted.

I know what your talking about, I foster cats. Protecting my gear is a non stop problem.
Without music, powerboat racing, photography and a whole stack of other stuff that floats my boat, life is just a non stop procession of deadlines and bills.
