    Default Nakamichi CR-1E not working

Is anyone interested in my Nakamichi CR-1E. If not it's probably going into my attic to be forgotten.

It's a two head Nak that I bought very cheaply before the price of cassette decks started to crazy. It is easily the best cassette deck I've ever owned - even though a bottom of the range Nakamichi.

However, it is broken. It no longer turns the capstans. I've had a look, and so has my usual Hi-Fi fixer, and we can't see anything wrong - belts look fine and nothing electrical obviously blown. I think one of the chips has gone doo-dally.

I had a plan to get another CR-1E keep this one for spares, and then saw a very nice Yamaha Cassette deck going for a lot cheaper than any Naks. So this is now redundant.

If anyone wants this deck they can have it - I'd rather it went to a good home. So at no cost - that right free - £0. Collection would be great - I live in South Worcestershire, or I can ship (at your cost).

    Here are some poor photos:

Happy to give priority to others but if no one else fancies saving it from the attic, I’d be happy to take it on.

You look to be head of a queue of one at the moment.
