Clock is ticking, Simon.... I can see from the stats that you've logged onto the forum both yesterday, after I posted the message, and also today, so must've read it.

How many chances is he going to get. Pull it and ban him for non compliance. He is obviously not going to go to any effort on both the price or pictures.

Ignoring the etiquette and rule breach, it is obvious that any potential buyer will want to know the condition, which necessitates the best pics possible, and the price being asked - this is a universal requirement.

I two years ago built up a racing bike (vintage equipment from the turn of the century), and bought what must have been several hundred parts from all over the world using Ebay. I had only two problems, both within the UK, one with poor pictures obscuring the condition, and another regarding corroded-solid parts.

The poor picture one I just accepted even though it was not really good enough behaviour on the part of the seller.
The other seller was brilliant and offered a substantial refund to purchase the corroded parts new.

Every other seller, and from all over the world was really brilliant and honest, always acknowledging my requests, providing information and pictures as required, and IMO these experiences are far better than those in general with supposedly bona-fide retailers. I'm baffled at the apparent lack of consideration being shown here.

Good pics speak volumes as far as I'm concerned, even tells me something about the 'attitude' of the seller.

I'm drawn to good pictures of an item for sale, I can see exactly what I'm getting and tells me the seller is bothered, not sloppy and doesn't appear to have anything to hide - all reassuring which is key in this game.

When selling I treat potential buyers the same way I want to be treated with regard to any potential purchase.

If it's all a bit 'meh' in presentation and description, I tend to look elsewhere

This all seems a bit harsh fellas with talk of banning etc.

There are rules for selling which ideally everyone reads before posting If a post is made and it doesn't comply, one of the mods usually points out that there is no photo, price or location etc and if it is not updated it will be removed. Sounds perfectly fair and reasonable to me, why the witch hunt on this occasion?
