    I've heard several different Tannoys and could live with any of the ones I heard. Even my mates modern slim Tannoys' don't remember the model, were surprisingly good.

    Office system, DIY CSS fullrange speakers with aurum cantus G2 ribbons yulong dac Sony STR6055 receiver Jvc QL-A51 direct drive turntable, Leema sub. JVC Z4S cart is in the house

    Garage system another Sony receiver, cassette deck

    On the same lines as Flatscreen TVs; you need to relate the size to the room.
    Lusting after......Klipschorns, say.....is no use if you only have a 10 X 14 foot room?
