What are the marks on the black part of the inner woofer?

I would make the plynths the same or only slightly bigger than the cabs themselves to avoid an even bigger footprint on your floor space.

I cut up an old solid wood table to go under mine and bought some brass cone spikes to go through my carpet.

Hi Paul, what looks like marks is just the reflection from the camera flash ( the dust cap is a very fine mesh )

    Cheers

    I see what you mean.

My eyes were struggling to work out what was going on.

I have never, ever had a HiFi itch that needed scratching until reasonably recently and it's Tannoy speakers. For some reason I just want to try some. It's been a bit of a "they're too big" battle for a while but I think my cardboard cutout has worn her down..... Seeing pictures like this doesn't help :-)

I don't want this to descend into a "which one is better" debate as I'm still quite a way away from doing anything but at the moment my sights are on Stirling GRs being the most likely fit....

No Dan, that was to be the final hurdle but she hasn’t flinched.
